TANDEM 2015

From 1st to 3rd June 2015 22 participants from 13 countries met at  Koç University, Istanbul to present and discuss their projects from the field of Neurogastroenterology.

Ten weeks prior to the meeting 11 teams, each consisting of one MD and one PhD, were announced by the the organizing comittee. Within a ten weeks period each team composed a translational pilot & feasibility project proposal. At the TANDEM meeting they had then 20 minutes to present their project to their peers and the comittee. Projects were discussed with all participants and scored subsequently.

The project with the highest score was awarded a funding of 5.000 € as startup money with the goal to get an independent grant.
